Of course, I had to still do some planning.  I love that part!  I had monogrammed market totes (bought off Etsy) full of sleepover stuff.  They each received chips, candy, a flashlight, the Berenstain Bears and the Slumber Party book, flavored chapstick, Angry Bird pajamas, and glow bracelets.

The boys had a blast playing his new Lego Star Wars Wii game ALL night long.  I made them get in bed around 10:00 but they couldn’t fall asleep until around midnight.  They were too excited to be together and about the following day of fun.  They woke up to delicious Kim’s donuts and chocolate milk.  We love having a local donut shop so close but it can be dangerous too.  The blueberry ones are my fave!   We went bowling and played arcade games for a while and then ended up back at the house playing the Wii.  They had a blast the entire time and did NOT want it to end.  It was a good thing we had a birthday dinner planned with grandparents for his actual birthday and cupcakes for his class at school.  He had a whole weekend to celebrate!         Dawson's 7th invite Dawson's 7th birthday 001 Dawson's 7th birthday 004 Dawson's 7th birthday 023 Dawson's 7th birthday 028 Dawson's 7th birthday 034 Dawson's 7th birthday 051 D sleepover morning 001 D sleepover morning 007

Now he’s turning 1!  His party is going to have a western theme so we found the most western spot we knew of here in Augusta. :-)   I think it turned out perfectly.

Or course, big brother Jake needed to be in some pictures too.  He was not into the camera AT ALL…did you know running away from the camera and throwing rocks is more fun?!  We still got you Jake!

Then Justin got a chance to dig into his cake. YUM!
